"Challenge" Trip!

About 40 people left our campus this morning to head to the train station in Sacramento. From there, they will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to gather with thoudands of other teens from across the USA for the Challenge Conference! Please pray for Pastor Dave, and for all of the teens and youth leaders who will be away at this event this week. May God grant them safety in travel, strong bonds of fellowship, and a powerful week of ministry.

Fireworks Booth!

If you are shopping for fireworks this week, please visit the Cornerstone Booth on Gray Ave. (right across the street from Kingwood Park)! Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit our Youth Department. And, as you can see from this picture, we are doiong some advertising for our church as well, so also pray that this will be a great outreach opportunity! Thank you to everyone who is helping to be in the booth this week! If you would like to volunteer for a shift, there are still spots available! Contact the church office for more info (674-3087).

Church Picnic Photos!

WOW! What a wonderful afternoon in the park! About 400 people gathered at Sam Brannan Park this past weekend to conclude our Celebration Sunday and Student Fundraiser. We enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, desserts, and more! There was great food and great fellowship! After we ate, we drew the names for our fundraiser prizes! It was such a great day! Thank you to everyone who had a part in making it so special and memorable.
