Celebration Set-Up!

Praise the Lord for the Celebration Service Set-Up Team!

What a group of people!

For the better part of two days they worked to tear down equipment at the church, strategize how to move it all to River Valley, and then setting it up today for tomorrow's service was nothing short of AMAZING!

Thanks to all of you who helped!

Compass Group News!

Compass Groups are launching!

Existing Groups start, April 19, 2009 and run through June 7, 2009.

New Groups being formed start, April 26, 2009 and run through June 7, 2009.

Compass Groups are at liberty to select materials that fit the needs of each group. The materials need to be consistent with the doctrinal statement of the church.

I am already in a group what do I need to do?

If you want to stay in your Compass Group nothing. Just find out when your meeting will begin.

If you would like to change to another Compass Group or switch to another day of the week fill out a Compass Group Card and place it in the offering or call the church office.

I am not in a group and would like to be in one what do I need to do?

We are excited that you are interested in joining a group!

Please fill out a Compass Group Card in the back of the church and place it in the offering or call the church office. We need to know what day of the week and time will work best for you to find the right group for you. It would also be helpful to know which city you live in or section of the city in which you live.

Other news or ways you can help:

A Compass Group needs to be launched in the Edgewater / Plumas Lake Area.

Celebration Banquet

What a God-honoring,
Christ exalting night!

How amazing to see in real time the way Cornerstone Church has grown.

We have three worship services (4 counting youth worship) and the full breadth of our ministry is not seen at one time. It was last night!

A special word of gratitude for all who helped make the Celebration Banquet possible.
· Those who helped plan and orchestrate the details of the banquet
· Those who arrived early to set up and decorate
· Those who stayed late to tear down and clean up
· The several area churches that volunteered their people allowing more of our people to participate and attend.
· For God’s people at The Church of Glad Tidings who hosted the event
· The Forward in Faith planning team
· The people who planted Cornerstone over fifty years ago
· For Pastor Terry Bates for the message he delivered
· For those who shared, sang and helped lead the banquet
We eagerly await what God is going to do in the days ahead! Response Cards will be collected for the next few Sundays.

“God does not burden our hearts with a vision that will not also receive His provision.” - Pastor Terry Bates
