Here are more pictures! Just click on them to make them bigger! Praise the Lord for His wonderful provision!

Cornerstone's NEW Look!

You may have been wondering why the blog wasn't updated last week! Was it because nothing was happening? On the contrary! SO much was happening! After a very full day on Sunday getting our renovation project started, work was done each day. The walls were painted, the carpet was laid, the chairs were set out, and the stage was decorated! And much, much more happened behind the scenes in other parts of the sanctuary building and Fellowship Hall!

Here are some "before and after" pictures of the sanctuary . . . . AMAZING!

The Renovation has Begun!

Sunday Report . . . . .

80 people joined the effort to begin the process of updating and renovating our church sanctuary! After a fantastic lunch prepared by Steve & Bonae Paustian, we got to work! Under the leadership of "Air Boss" Bill Terbush, we removed the pews, removed the carpeting, painted the walls, painted trim, painted baseboard, delivered the donated pews to the court, unpacked the chairs, and much, much more! Here are some pictures from Day 1 (remember, you can enlarge them by clicking on them)! Enjoy! And keep praying for the effort this week!

Work Day Coming!

Refreshing our Look

Please pray for this project!

Please note there will be no child care.

Only children 6th grade or above can help. There will be a lot of activity, heavy lifting and moving of ladders and equipment and we do not want little children wandering into an area where they might get injured.

Barry Road Prayer Meeting

Several people joined together in prayer at the Barry Road property this past Sunday to ask for the Lord's wisdom and blessing as we begin to consider this piece of land for Cornerstone's future. Please continue to pray that God would lead and guide. Also pray for our leadership boards as they meet this week to discuss the details of our next steps. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

Special Prayer Meeting this Sunday!

Prayer for Triumph!

Special Prayer Time

Barry Road Property
Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM

Take 99 South to Barry Road, turn left on Barry Road
Park along Barry and Muir Road

We will meet for a time of prayer asking for God to:

Give us wisdom with regards to the land.

Grant us favor by speaking to the hearts of the owners of the land as our need for land is discussed with them.

Give us a miracle in either giving us the land or the land for a greatly reduced price.

Let’s circle that property with believers and lift it to the Lord in prayer and blow our trumpets (I am sure we have a trumpet player) to bring down the obstacles that would prevent us from taking OUR PROMISED LAND.

Cornerstone Messages Online!

Have you ever missed a church service? Have you ever wanted to hear Pastor Jim's (or Rick's? or Dave's? or Greg's?) message a second time? Have you been looking for a way to share the message of hope and encouragement to your friends and neighbors?

Check out the "Messages" Page on Cornerstone's Website! We have just finished uploading the entire "Propelled By Prayer" Message Series by our 4 Pastors (concluding with Pastor Jim's Easter Message on 3/23) as well as the last 2 Sundays! You can either listen on-line or you can right click on the link to download it to your computer or MP3 Player (click the "save target as" option).

Barry Road Property

Praise the LORD for His guidance. Last night a special prayer meeting and business meeting was held out at the Barry Road Property on the south side of the city. This was a historic moment were all sensed God’s presence was evident. It was the unanimous decision of the Elders, Deacons and Land Team members present to make an offer on the Barry Road Property. If the offer is accepted we will have at least six months to study the land to find out all we need to know to see if this is the parcel of land on which to relocate Cornerstone Church. Please pray for the owners.

…For God’s Favor
His Will to be known and understood

…For God’s Favor amidst His People
For all the Cornerstone Body to sense this is God’s Will and God’s Plan

…For God’s Favor with the County Leaders and Planners
Pray that the County Leaders would be open to placing a Church on this Property

…For God’s Favor toward the Landowners
Pray that the Owners of the Property will experience the reality of Christ by the integrity we demonstrate
