Building God's Way Analysis!

Dear Cornerstone Saints,

A lot is happening behind the scenes these days. We are working with individuals from Building God’s Way to help design our future place of ministry – our new building. Contracting Building God’s Way to help us design our new facility was one of the decisions that came out of our Annual Congregational Meeting.

Right now we are in the stage of gather input from the congregation. Gleaning your ideas of what you think is important to have in our new building. I need your help!

You can help in the following ways. If you are interested in participating in the process let me know and I will email you a copy of the Building God’s Way Church Needs Analysis Worksheet (see below).

This analysis is an attempt to create a portrait of what we want to see in our new facility. It is like baking a cake. All of the ingredients go into the mix and then the cake is baked. The team from Building God’s Way will take our ideas and dreams and then synthesize them into a package that we can afford.

If you do not know how to answer certain questions on the form or do not care about a certain area of our ministry it is okay to pass on that particular area and leave it blank.

If the form does not fit some of your concerns just write your thoughts down and email them to me. If possible submit them electronically via email or word document.

I want your response by Sunday, February 24, 2008.

If you have any questions you can call me at the church office (674-3087) or write.

For His Glory,
Pastor Rick

An Empty Seat!

Check out the video shown at this Sunday's Congregational Meeting! A look at Cornerstone's history and its future! Thanks for your hard work on this, Pastor Dave!

Changes are Coming!

This past Sunday afternoon, the congregation of Cornerstone voted to refurbish our sanctuary for increased capacity and flexibility. The walls will be painted, the carpeting will be replaced, and the pews will be replaced with chairs. We praise the Lord for His provision for our church through the years, and we look forward to all He has in store for us in the days to come. While we patiently wait for the Lord to provide a new home for Cornerstone, this change will serve as a "down payment on our future" (Pastor Jim). Praise the Lord!
