Heroes exist in great numbers at Cornerstone Church!

The Church Work Day at Cornerstone today was a colossal and enormous success!

What amazing people we have at Cornerstone! Over 40 showed up and did the work of 100! Multiple Generations worked side by side. By the end of the day over one ton of vegetation and debris was removed from the grounds and taken to the dump!

The Paustians provided a lunch fit for a king. YUMO!

The church looks fantastic! Praise the LORD! I thank each and everyone one of you for the gift of your time!  You are heroes for Jesus!

POWERFUL WEEKEND AT CORNERSTONE!

What a powerful weekend at Cornerstone!  It was amazing! 

All of our services had a sense of expectation and the presence of God at them.  It was like our Easter - Resurrection Service!

Shawna Craft, Director of Children's Ministries

It was announced this past weekend that Shawna Craft will serve as Director of Children's Ministries at Cornerstone Church.

Shawna will serve in this capacity as the Children's Pastor Search Team is seeking to secure our next Children's Pastor.

Shawna was born and raised in the Yuba/Sutter area.  She accepted Christ as her savior in 1988. Shawna graduated from Lindhurst High School in 1993 and Yuba Community College in 1995 with an associate’s degree in Mass Communications.  Shawna and Clarence met while attending the same church and were married in July 1994.  They have four children, Devin, Sydney, Blake and McKenna.  In 2005, Shawna returned to college and graduated in 2007 from Western Governors University with a Bachelor’s degree of Interdisciplinary Studies and received a California Teaching Credential for Multiple subjects. 

Shawna is currently a full time teacher with an internet based independent study program, California Virtual Academy. 

While attending Cornerstone, Shawna has volunteered in a variety of areas.  She leads a Wednesday night Women’s Bible study, runs the soundboard and helps out in a variety of other areas.

Shawna is excited to have this opportunity to work with the children of Cornerstone.
