"Challenge" Trip!

About 40 people left our campus this morning to head to the train station in Sacramento. From there, they will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to gather with thoudands of other teens from across the USA for the Challenge Conference! Please pray for Pastor Dave, and for all of the teens and youth leaders who will be away at this event this week. May God grant them safety in travel, strong bonds of fellowship, and a powerful week of ministry.

Fireworks Booth!

If you are shopping for fireworks this week, please visit the Cornerstone Booth on Gray Ave. (right across the street from Kingwood Park)! Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit our Youth Department. And, as you can see from this picture, we are doiong some advertising for our church as well, so also pray that this will be a great outreach opportunity! Thank you to everyone who is helping to be in the booth this week! If you would like to volunteer for a shift, there are still spots available! Contact the church office for more info (674-3087).

Kids at camp this week!

Six Cornerstone kids are attending West Coast Honor Camp (formerly AWANA Scholarship Camp) at Lassen Pines this week. Please pray that they will have a good week!

Another GREAT night of learning and fun! "Jesus gives us the power to help others!" Thanks for your prayers! We have 202 kids registered and 167 came last night! WOW - PTL! :-)

With 181 kids registered, our first night brought out 164 kids! WOW! We praise the Lord for a GREAT start to our summer VBS ministry! Pray that kids (and their families) will be reached with the Gospel!
